Ljubljana, 02 June (STA) - Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel discussed the idea of a Central European strategic partnership, restrictions on the free movement of the labor force for new EU members and bilateral relations between Austria and Slovenia in an interview published in Saturday's edition of the daily Dnevnik. Schuessel also touched upon the upcoming Bush-Putin summit saying that he is "happy for Slovenia" as such a meeting represents a boost for Slovenia's image and political weight.

The choice of locations for such a meeting is limited, now Ljubljana has joined the likes of Geneva, Vienna, Oslo and Helsinki, explained Schuessel. "Sincerely, I am happy for Slovenia, but I also know that the organisation of such a meeting is a great challenge. So I wish you the best of luck!" added the Austrian Chancellor.
